At Tea OMAKASE, our mission is to curate meaningful experiences.
Recently, we had the honor of collaborating with renowned local artist Micol Zardi, creating a one-of-a-kind event that brought together the worlds of fine tea, artistry, and cultural heritage. This collaboration was more than an event; it was a deeply fulfilling opportunity to share our passion for tea while creating something truly special with a likeminded creative spirit.

A Fusion of Tradition and Modernity

Our partnership with Micol Zardi was rooted in a shared love for the finer details — both in tea craftsmanship and artistic expression. Zardi’s exquisite ceramics provided a contemporary lens through which we could explore the ancient Korean tea tradition known as Dado (tea ceremony). Together, we were able to craft an experience that bridged the gap between past and present, offering a fresh perspective on a timeless practice. For us at Tea OMAKASE, this collaboration was a reminder of how tradition can be reinterpreted to create new layers of meaning, while still honoring its origins.

A Special Moment of Connection

The event also provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with our audience on a deeper level. Guided by Korean sommelier Shane Kim, our guests were treated to an immersive experience in the art of tea brewing. Shane’s deep knowledge of Korean tea traditions brought to life the care and thoughtfulness that goes into each cup, allowing our guests to discover the subtleties behind mindful tea preparation. It was a meaningful moment for us to share this journey, sparking conversations about the cultural and artistic significance of tea within a setting designed for intellectual curiosity and appreciation.

Celebrating the Power of Collaboration

Looking back, this collaboration was a meaningful and enriching experience for both Tea OMAKASE and Micol Zardi. It allowed us to bring together different forms of craftsmanship — from the meticulous process of tea brewing to the intricate artistry of ceramic design. Working together, we were able to create something unique that not only resonated with our audience but also aligned with our shared values of creativity, excellence, and cultural refinement. It was a celebration of the power of collaboration, showing how partnerships can elevate both art and tradition to new heights.

A Moment of Gratitude

For me personally, this event was a milestone in Tea OMAKASE's journey. It was a privilege to share our passion for tea with an audience that appreciates the fine art of living. I am deeply grateful to Micol Zardi for her creativity and collaboration, which made this event such a memorable and impactful experience. The response from our guests was a true testament to the meaningful connections we can create through tea, art, and culture.

As we move forward, Tea OMAKASE remains committed to offering unique and enriching experiences that go beyond the ordinary. This event was a reflection of our core values — the art of tea as a gateway to cultural understanding, creativity, and shared moments of beauty. We look forward to many more collaborations that inspire and connect our community.
