Discover Switzerland’s First Tea-Infused Sake
In a quiet Swiss brewery, something remarkable has emerged — Kaori × Weilu, the first tea-infused sake made in Switzerland.
Created by KTea Shop and YamaSake, this collaboration blends Asian tea philosophy with Swiss brewing precision, offering a world-first experience for sake and tea lovers alike.
The Swiss Craft Behind the Innovation
Founded in 2020, YamaSake uses pristine alpine water and organic rice to craft authentic sake.
Founder YamaSake Oliver Weibel, trained in Japan, brought the fermentation discipline of the East to Switzerland’s mountains.
At KTea Shop, Shane Kim, a certified tea sommelier and master, explores tea as ritual — a daily act of focus, clarity, and connection.
When tea met sake, something entirely new was born: a Swiss sake with tea soul.
🌿 How the Collaboration Began
What started as a conversation turned into six months of experimentation.
Oliver’s precise brewing methods met Shane’s intuitive tea rituals.
Countless batches later, they found balance — the aroma of tea living inside the clarity of sake. This became the Kaori × Weilu Collection: two limited-edition blends handcrafted in Switzerland, uniting mountain water, organic rice, and mist-grown tea leaves.
🌸 The Creation
Weilu (味旅) — “Taste Journey”

Ruby Black Tea × Junmai Sake
A bright, fruit-forward sake infused with the floral sweetness of Taiwan’s Ruby Black tea.
Notes of apple, wild strawberry, and honeyed malt — a walk through a fruit orchard at dusk.
Kaori (かおり) — “Essence of Floral”

Alishan High Mountain Oolong × Junmai Sake
Floral, airy, and delicate, with hints of orchid, lily, and mountain air freshness.
Elegant and calm, blooming slowly on the palate like spring opening in a cup.
Why It Matters
Kaori × Weilu is more than a drink.
It’s a statement of Swiss innovation — how East and West can meet through shared values: purity, patience, and respect for craft.
Every bottle is brewed, infused, and bottled in Switzerland, representing the best of both worlds.
Limited Edition — Only 500 Bottles
The first 90 bottles ship in December 2025.
Each one is numbered, handcrafted, and available exclusively through KTea Shop and YamaSake.
