Aroma Wheel
Where Ceylon precision meets oolong patience.
Nuwara Eliya sits at 1868 metres in Sri Lanka's central highlands. Almost every leaf picked here becomes black tea — the region is famous for it. But this batch was different. The tea maker stopped oxidation at around 35 percent, then hand-rolled each leaf before slow-drying at low temperature. The result is an oolong with a character that could only come from this altitude. Light enough to reveal the floral terroir. Full enough to remind you this is still Ceylon.

The Oolong tea that taste like White tea + Darjeeling black tea
Grown at 1868 metres in Sri Lanka's central highlands, this is not a tea that fits neatly into one category. The leaf is picked at Orange Pekoe grade — whole, unbroken — then pulled before full oxidation and hand-rolled while still partially green.
The result sits between worlds. The lightness of a white tea. The muscatel grip of a first flush
Darjeeling. The body of a Ceylon. Three traditions meeting in one cup.
The first steep is quiet — apple sweetness and muscat grape. The second opens into fresh plant and white tea softness. By the third steep, orchid florals settle into the finish and stay.
This is a tea that rewards patience. Four to six steeping, each one different.
Each one revealing something the last one hid.
Pedro Estate has grown tea at this altitude since 1885. Almost every leaf becomes black tea. Once a season, a small batch is set aside and given the oolong treatment. This is that batch.
