Tea Omakase Quiet Reset
Ninety quiet minutes · Zürich
Leave the week at the door. Sit for tea.
No screens to answer. No performance. Three tea rituals at one private table, and a simple ritual you can repeat at home.
Why people come
Most afternoons ask something of you. This one does not.
You are guided through three rituals, one after another. Nothing to reply to, nothing to prove. Only the next cup.
The 90 minutes
Three rituals, one after another.
Each course moves a little slower than the last, and each is paired with a seasonal confection.

01
A Korean tea ceremony
Darye opens the afternoon. Rare teas from small family farms in Jeju and Boseong, poured slowly, with quiet intention.
Paired with dasik and hangwa

02
Your own blend
You smell, choose and blend a tea of your own. The hands-on middle of the afternoon. It goes home with you.
Paired with a seasonal confection

03
A Japanese matcha ritual
Ceremonial-grade matcha, whisked in front of you. A quiet close, and space to settle before you leave.
Paired with seasonal wagashi
At the table
Five things that happen in ninety minutes.
-
You put your phone away. After a few minutes, you stop thinking about it.
The afternoon asks for nothing to be answered. Your attention has somewhere else to go.
-
Your attention moves to small things.
Aroma. Sound. Texture. Temperature. Taste. You are guided through each one, slowly.
-
No one expects anything from you.
There is no etiquette to perform and no knowledge to prove. You are guided. You only follow.
-
The room slows to the pace of the pour.
Three rituals, one after another. Each one is slower than the hour you came from.
-
You take the ritual home.
You leave with a tea you blended and a simple way to serve it, for an ordinary evening.

My daughter and I had the pleasure of experiencing a Tea Omakase and it was nothing short of exceptional. The atmosphere felt calm, intimate, and thoughtfully curated. If you’re looking for something unique in Zurich, this is an experience I highly recommend.
We loved the ambiance and the presentation. We could “empty” our minds and just be in the moment. It was very relaxing.
Amazing experience. Shane and Nicole are so passionate about tea! We learned a lot and the teas and desserts were absolutely fabulous!
Gifted the experience to my sister as a Christmas present. We both liked it very much and learnt a lot about tea! Definitely recommend.
