For one weekend only, Doris, founder of Malaysia Cooking Academy, brings her international teaching experience to Zurich. This is not simply a demonstration. You will work with the ingredients, practise each technique and make the Wagashi yourself.

Professional Possibilities

Why Learn Wagashi?

Wagashi brings together flavour, texture, colour, seasonality and storytelling. For a food business, it can become more than a beautiful sweet—it can become a recognisable point of difference.

  • Create a signature Japanese-inspired dessert
  • Develop seasonal confectionery collections
  • Add premium items to afternoon tea
  • Build matcha and specialty-tea pairings
  • Offer a product customers cannot easily find elsewhere
