There’s something about this bowl that draws you in before the tea even touches your lips.
Handcrafted by Korean master potter 관지, this chawan is made using age-old techniques passed down through generations. A coarse clay body is layered with white slip, then boldly brushed with deep black glaze using the traditional Heuk-Gwiyal method. The surface reveals a natural crackle pattern (빙열), and each piece tells its own quiet story — shaped by fire, clay, and time.

No two are ever the same. That’s part of its charm.
The proportions feel just right in the hand, with a subtle weight that grounds you. Whether you’re whisking a morning bowl of matcha or preparing for a meditative tea ceremony, this bowl invites a pause — a deeper breath. It doesn’t ask to be admired. It simply is, and that’s more than enough.
Loved by tea practitioners and design enthusiasts alike, it’s the kind of piece you find once — and keep for life.
