This matcha tool set from brings together the essentials of a refined tea ritual: the chasen (matcha whisk) and chashaku (matcha scoop), both hand-carved from aged bamboo grown and shaped in Korea. Their presence transforms your preparation into more than a task — it becomes a quiet ritual.
The bamboo is selected with care, then slowly formed into delicate lines and curves that honor tradition while feeling right at home in a modern setting. The whisk offers just the right balance to produce smooth, frothy matcha, while the scoop provides the perfect portion with elegance and ease.
Whether you’re deepening a personal matcha practice or gifting someone their first step into tea culture, this set is both beautiful and lasting — made to be used, cherished, and remembered.
How to Use:
-
Soak the whisk in warm water before use to soften the bristles. This adds bounce and helps form smooth foam.
-
Use the chashaku to scoop ~1g of matcha into your bowl. Two scoops is the standard for one serving.
-
Whisk in a "W" motion using your wrist, not your elbow. Avoid touching the base of the bowl.
-
For ideal whisk care, rinse and dry upright in a well-ventilated place.
Care Tips:
-
Rinse with warm water only.
-
Dry the chasen bristles facing upward.
-
Gently pat the chashaku dry with a soft cloth after each use.
-
Replace the whisk when the bristles begin to soften permanently.
